Here Comes The Sun Pendant Light 550mm
A beautiful pendant light with real heritage, Here Comes the Sun was first designed in 1970 by Toulouse-born architect Bertrand Balas.
Available in five different diameters, an aluminium body finished in black or white satin can be matched with your choice of a white or copper interior. Striking as a standalone centrepiece or in a cluster, Here Comes the Sun is a versatile lighting solution that makes an eye-catching statement.
This is the largest pendant with a 550mm diameter - view all sizes.
Inspired by watching the sunset over the Garonne river, Balas wanted to bring the warm glow indoors, creating an unusual and unique feature perfect for completing chic, modern and minimalist decors, or adding a contrasting – yet still natural – touch to more traditional interiors.
With the downlight providing ample light, the separated globe design reveals an internal radiance that brings a wonderful warmth to a room, while also illuminating hidden higher-up features and ceilings in a creative way.
Capturing the beauty of a sunrise or sunset, Here Comes the Sun is one of our favourite additions to the Inverse Square range. Reflecting Balas' architectural aims of a spirit free of constraints, it can bring a home the warm comforts of a dusky evening, or the inspiring light of dawn rays – it all depends on how you look at it.
